We visited the ancient city of Pompeii on Friday. The city is preserved in time and has become one of the most famous excavation sites in the world. It’s incredible that you get a real feel of what life was like nearly 2000 years ago prior to the city being destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79AD.
We had a great guide name Savlia, he reminded us of Mario from Super Marios! He made the trip come alive by his great commentary.
