We spent our first full day in Rome getting a feel for the place. Annette’s boss Pete Z, suggested catching the tourist bus first then picking where you want to go. We did that and our trip took us to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, the Pantheon and a few other spots. The pictures of Rome tell the story for the day.
Note to self next time, had a nice lunch between the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps at a cafe between the tourist spots, however, a large cappuccino came in at 12 euro compared to a small cap, 3.5 euro.
